Gaby's Gymnastics Team Members

As Gaby's Gymnastics Team members move up through the levels, they compete each season throughout Tennessee, the region and across the nation. Our gymnasts have enjoyed success at some of the largest gymnastics meets in the country. Please take a moment to get to know some of the gymnasts of Gaby's Gymnastics Team.

Cora Lisa Bagoli - Level 9

2008 - 2nd place on Beam at State Championship
2008 - Regional Medalist on Vault and Floor

Cora Bagoli is a Junior at Hume Fogg Academic Magnet School. She takes pride in being a gymnastics assistant clinician in a cultural exchange program where she travels every summer in Bahamas. Cora also will be a Junior Counselor at Flip Fest Camp this summer. In her free time Cora attends every school sport activities, enjoys music, dancing and traveling.

Briana Yankie - Level 9

Briana is a homeschooled Junior, who also attends an enrichment tutorial
one day a week. She has been cometing with Gaby's Gym since she was nine
and still enjoys the challenge of the soort. "My love for gymnastics is due greatly to the patience of my coaches and the encouragement of all my teammates." Briana's most memorable experience was going to regionals last year. She is also interested in drawing, painting and learning more about Jesus and His creation.

Zakia Alcantara - Level 8

2008 - Level 8 State Champion on Floor and 3rd on Beam and AA
2007 - Level 8 State Champion on Floor

Zakia Alcantara is a Senior at Hume Fogg Academic Magnet School. She excels in both gymnastics and track where she is competing for her school. Zakia has been wowing the crowds the last two years with her amazing "Drumline" floor routine. Zakia is excited about her mission trip to Trinidad this summer.

Makenzie Fitzhugh - Level 8

Makenzie is a 13 year old Level 8. She loves gymnastics and has competed since she was 6. A few of her most memorable accomplishments are Level 5 second place Tennessee All-Around Champion, Level 6 State Floor Champion, and a 9.600 - Level 7 on Bars (the highest score of the entire meet). Her most exiting moment was winning 1st place on Beam and 3rd place on Floor in Chicago at the largest meet in USA. In addition, Makenzie sings and plays piano and violin. She was a member of the cast of the High School Musical put on by the Circle Players this past summer.

Avei Logoleo - Level 8

1st Place on Vault, Bars, Beams, Floor and AA at Mardi Gras in LA - Feb. 2008

Avei Logoleo is in 7th grade at Meigs Magnet Middle School and has been a member of Gaby's Gymnastics Team since she was a 7 years old in Level 4. She is a very talented and graceful gymnast who works hard to perfect her gymnastics skills. Avei participates in many sports but competes in both gymnastics and softball. She is the older sister of Kayla who is also competing Level 8, and Aleia soon to be competing Level 4.

Kayla Logoleo - Level 8

Kayla Logoleo has been at Gaby's Gymnastics since she was a very little girl. Even when she was very young she was quick to learn a new trick and always one of the youngest members of the team. Kayla loves many sports but participates in Gymnastics and Softball on a competitive level. She is only 10 years old and a second year Level 8. She is in 6th grade at Rose Park Magnet.

Alina Malinauskaite - Level 7

2008 - State Championship, 3rd place on Floor

Alina is a Junior attending Hume Fogg Academic Magnet School.
She is a very graceful gymnast who excels on beam and floor. Her gymnastics career started in Lithuania where she was born, then at Gaby's from the age of 10. She loves working out with her teammates and the wonderful coaches that, by now, she considers them family.

Jordan Burkart - Level 6

2007 - 2nd Place on Floor at Level 5 TN State Meet with 9.800

Jordan Burkart, 9 years old, started training with Gaby's Gymnastics three years ago. She is in fourth grade at McClain Christian Academy in Wilson County. Besides gymnastics, Jordan enjoys animals and horse riding, and also likes climbing trees. She has made many friends at Gaby's and loves the coaches.

Abbey Patey - Level 5

Abbey is in 6th grade at J.T. Moore Middle School. She started gymnastics when she was 6 years old and moved to Nashville a year ago, where she began training and competing with Gaby's. Abbey also likes to play basketball, watch scary movies, sing and dance.

Polly Nguyen - Level 4

She is the youngest member of the team, in 2nd grade at Glengarry Elementary School. Polly doesn't ever get tired of practicing gymnastics. Everybody loves Polly.
