Gaby's Coaches
Gabriela Geiculescu - Head Coach and Owner of Gaby's Gymnastics. Gaby is a Master in Gymnastics (Maestru al Sportului in Gimnastica) from Romania, that she earned in 1979 at the age of 13, when she was ranked 63 in the world and 10th Romanian gymnast. She began gymnastics when she was 7 years old with Rodica Apateanu at C.S.S. Triumf in Bucharest. In 1978 she was selected by Ioan Petru to be part of a selective group to train for the 1980 Olympic Games. She continued training with Cristina and Ioan Petru. After winning Bars and the All Around at the 1979 National Junior Championship she had to join the National Olympic Team at Deva, coached by Martha and Bela Karolyi. Some of her teammates where Nadia Comaneci, Emilia Eberle, Lavinia Agache, Melita Ruhn, Ecaterina Szabo, Rodica Dunca, Dumitrita Turner and Marilena Vladarau. She came to USA in December 1989 and is a USAG Professional Member and also has KAT Certification and USAIGC membership. Gaby has great expertise and a huge heart. She has a deep love and understanding of the sport of gymnastics. She is a former Romanian National Team Member, competed internationally as a Junior Elite between 1975-1980 in Germany, Bulgaria, China, Hungary, Soviet Union, Poland, Checkoslovakia (XV Spartakiada), Israel (11th International Games of Hapoel in May 1979), London (Coca-Cola in December 1979), Moskow News (March 1980), and was training to represent Romania to the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. An injury ended her Elite career early but she has brought her experience to the United States for all her students to share at Gaby's Gymnastics. Gaby's biggest pride is her 19 year old son, Alexander Mihai (student at TTU) and 16 year old daughter, Cora Lisa who is also a gymnast. More information about her elite career can be found at:

Sergiu Parcescu - Sergiu has a degree in Physical Education with major in gymnastics. He is maried and has a 3 year old daughter, Sophia. Sergiu is exceptionally skilled as a soccer player and has great abilities in working with all levels of gymnasts and general fitness training.
Melissa Wilson - Melissa is a professional dance instructor holding a BFA in Dance. She is also a USAG Professional Member and works primarily with the Compulsory gymnastics program. Her skills in routine instruction translate to great scores for our kids when competing. Melissa teaches classes in dance for gymnastics and Christ Center Dance Performance.
Gaby's Choreographer
Lucy Wener Fox- Lucy Wener Fox has been Gaby's primary choreographer since 1998. Lucy provides "prescriptive" choreography, choreographing to the strengths of the gymnast and minimizing weaknesses. Lucy is an International Brevet Judge and works with the National Talent Opportunities Program. Lucy was a collegiate gymnast and an All American for the University of Georgia. She's an Inductee in the SEC Hall of Fame. The artwork for the Art N Motion logo depicts Lucy as she was drawn on the Invitation to her SEC Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. Lucy has choreograpghed routines for many State Floor Champions and Regional and National Medalists. She works with gymnasts in all aspects of the sport and has created routines for J.O., Collegiate and Elite athletes.
